SOCOWA is certified for the sale of GOTS certified organic raw cotton and cotton combers GOTS or Global Organic Textile Standard
GOTS labelled garnments are produced with organic cotton and in accordance with high environmental and social standards throughout the whole supply chain.

SOCOWA is also a member of Better Coton Initiative, or BCI, and is entitled to sell cotton combers under this label.
This movement brings together actors of the whole garnment supply chain actors and aims at promoting environmental and social sustainability of cotton cultivation (efficient use of water, reduction of the use of pesticides, IPM Integrated Pest Management, better income for the farmers, scolarisation of children and adults training, …). Its members must seek a continuous improvement of their practices in order to create long-term change.
